Judith M Scarborough (Judy)
Judith M. Scarborough is a director in the accounting and auditing department of Master, Sidlow & Associates, P.A., servicing clients in the construction, legal, governmental and not- for- profit sectors as well as providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to closely-held businesses. She is responsible as a member of the firm's accounting and audit practice for scheduling and coordinating staff assignments and work. Her responsibilities also include the review of accounting and audit work done by the firm, as well as, the quality control aspects of the accounting and audit department.

Ms. Scarborough is a certified public accountant in the state of Delaware. She is past President of the Delaware State Board of Accountancy and past Chair of the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants governing council. She was also a member of the governing council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Scarborough was a board member of CPA Associates International, past chairperson of its government and not-for- profit services committee, and is a current member of the Professional Issues Task Force (chair), and Construction Services committees.

Judy currently serves as audit committee chair and board member for the Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. and First State Community Loan Fund. Ms. Scarborough served as chair of the board of directors of the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (formerly the Delaware Association of Nonprofit Agencies), the Newark Senior Center and the Food Bank of Delaware. She is a frequent writer and lecturer on various business topics. She is the Financial Oversight instructor in the University of Delaware's Nonprofit Management Certificate Program.

Ms. Scarborough is a graduate of the University of Delaware where she earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. In 2002 she was awarded the University of Delaware Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics Alumni Award of Excellence. In addition, in 2011 Judy received the AICPA Women to Watch - Established Leader Award.
